Q: Tell us a little about yourself
I am 65 year old retired and love life, I love my family, When I started writing in 2010 full time I wanted to write my life and so "Brooke and Brooke and Nick" was born. It’s me but with some fantasy. I made it fun and exciting and I believe romantic. I am a mother and a grandmother and then I discovered I love writing children's books. So I started writing books about my grandchildren.
You can find my books on Lulu, amazon, Kindle fire. In addition, I have found helping other Authors get published is such a delight to me.
I hate being bored and thus, I hate working at a job that is boring. This is the best job I have ever had and the most rewarding.
I have met people from all over the world. However, I have to admit the best for me has been since I have met the seven Women Of Passion that I helped put together an Anthology. They are from India, Philippines and Middle East. These women are wonderful and so full of love. Nitasu Laup, Helen Sarita, Jolly Bhattacharjee, Dr. Shamezan Shaiku, Zahra Myles, Tracy Raven luna, Hamdia Fouad. Now we are working on another anthology called Women Of Reflections. We have grown to love each other. Now a few of them have become Authors of their own books.
Q: Name your most successful book
Dancing With Jesus
Q: What made this book more successful than the others?
I believe it has been blessed my God.
Q: Is there one book you enjoyed writing more than the others?
Sweet Serenity. It’s a fantasy book about our butterflies are disappearing. A young girl finds out she is really a butterfly and her family is slowly becoming extinct.
Q: Are you working on something new?
Yes, ForEver Brooke
Q: If so, tell us about it.
Brooke, is being sexually abused when she is a child. It is very hard to write, because this is a true story.
Q: What can we expect from you in the future?
I want to write some more children's books, I am not really sure, I just go with the flow.
Q: How long does it take you to write a novel?
A novel to me takes about 4 months and to have it edited right 6 more months.
Q: How do you attract sales to your books?
I am good at advertising. Book launches are great for that.
Q: What advice can you give to aspiring authors?
Never give up, and never… NEVER Listen TO NEGATIVE JEALOUS PEOPLE.
Sticks and Stones can break your bones but words will never hurt you if you do not let them.
And If you love to write then write. Don’t write to make money, write because you love it and then your rewards will come later.
